Fast, free, and private — because file conversion should be simple.
WeConvertIt is an independent project built around a single idea: everyday file conversion tasks should not require an account, a monthly subscription, or uploading your documents to someone else's servers. Every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser — your files stay on your device from start to finish.
The tools cover the most common needs: converting between image formats, compressing photos, merging and splitting PDFs, annotating documents, converting PDF pages to images, and extracting text with OCR. Each one is built with open-source browser libraries (pdf-lib, PDF.js, Tesseract.js) so there is no proprietary black box between you and your files.
There are no ads on the tool pages, no tracking of what you convert, and no freemium limits. The site is supported by keeping things simple and well-built rather than by harvesting data.
